With ART, agricultural residuals are composted aerobically, utilizing forced air and active turning in an enclosed environment. Microbial activity in the compost naturally produces ammonium and carbon dioxide, forming ammonium carbonate, which is captured with the water vapor, and released during thermophilic temperatures. Microbial activity is then leveraged to transform free ammonium into a usable form that can be applied directly at the farm and is available for immediate uptake by plants.
